Bureau Cadran

We script daylight, glass, and glow into civic landmarks.

Bureau Cadran is an architectural glass and light atelier. We compose luminous surfaces, nightfinding systems, and installation narratives for museums, transit halls, and public squares.

Disciplines

We combine architectural glass, light engineering, and civic storytelling.

Daylight choreography

Solar path studies, glare control, and seasonal light maps.

Glass prototyping

Furnace tests, lamination stacks, and surface textures.

Nightfinding systems

Low-energy glow cues, beacon fixtures, and calm circulation.

Process map

Each commission runs in four phases. We balance site analysis with material testing and a public pilot before final fabrication.

Phase 1: Site pulse

Daylight scans, night walks, and community interviews.

Phase 2: Material pilots

Glass trials, glow studies, and structural coordination.

Phase 3: Civic prototype

Short-run installation with feedback loops.

Phase 4: Fabrication

Final drawings, build packages, and on-site tuning.

Current focus

Urban lantern network

We are developing a family of modular glass lanterns for transit plazas.

Recent installations

Selected commissions across transport, culture, and public landscape.

Harbor Atrium

Glass fins and amber glow for a coastal transit hall.

Echo Stair

Vertical light ribbons guiding museum circulation after dusk.

Canopy Lane

Floating lantern canopy for a winter pedestrian market.

Material palette

We work with glass houses, light engineers, and ceramicists to build resilient surfaces.
